You are invited to our 21st annual Oregon Grape Stomp Championship and Harvest Celebration this September 24th and 25th (Sat and Sun) from 11 am to 6 pm at our Estate Vineyard. Grape stomping is a great spectator sport. To maximize fun and entertainment, we encourage you to dress up in costume or team uniforms. There will be an added prize for the team with the most creative costumes. The kids are invited to have fun too, where we offer a daily Kids Stomp for a $5 participation fee. Some of you may be dropping your older children off at college that weekend, stop in on your way back and unwind with glass of wine. The $10 adult admission includes a free Riedel wine glass and tasting of our fine wines from our Tasting Room. Live music will be performed daily from 12-5 by J.T. and the Tourists and Bentley's Grill will be providing food at an additional cost. There is also an additional $10 fee per team to stomp. Please call 1-800-344-9463 for more information. We will have walk-in spots available on the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis. I hope you are able to join me (I will be Mrs. Oregon's Swabbie) and the WVV team as we celebrate the beginning of the 2011 harvest. Warm Regards, Jim Bernau Founder/President P.S. Save the date! On Thursday, September 29th from 5:30-7:30 Willamette Valley Vineyards and Travel Salem will be celebrating Oregon's new "Wine Country" state license plate! Enjoy appetizers, wine and help us celebrate! |
